| It's Been 10 Years Already... Ten years ago, we left Oakland High School to go out into the world. It's now time to come back and celebrate our first reunion. We want to see everybody there--and we mean everybody! We're making an effort to reunite all of the people that made our class great, and that means you. We are planning a fun weekend of events. The festivities will begin with a Friday evening football game and tailgate. Saturday night, we plan to party like it's 1996! Please continue to check the website as details will be posted. |

Homecoming 2006 The date has been set for our first reunion weekend. We will return to our old stomping grounds to celebrate Oakland's Homecoming the way it was meant to be done. The football game will be on Friday, September 29, 2006. We will begin with a day of tailgating. We have reserved the pavilion which is right next to the covered walkway going to the annex. Bring your families and plenty of food and beverages for sharing. The softball team is having a barbecue dinner from 5:00 till the game starts. It will be on the Football Practice field. $4- Barbecue sandwich and drink, $8- 1/2 chicken plate, $8- BBQ sandwich plate, $12- 1/2 Rack Rib plate. Plates include: cole slaw, chips, beans, dessert, and drink. If you want, you could grab a plate and come back to the pavilion. No alcohol will be permitted on school grounds. A tour of Oakland will begin at 5:30 that night(meet at the pavilion). You can also purchase football tickets with PayPal. Click the link at the bottom of this page to find out more information. Immediately following the game, we will be meeting at our classmate, Raymond Daugherty's new restaurant and bar, Chef Raymond’s on the corner of Church and Broad streets. Saturday Night We are working to plan a party that we'll all still be talking about when it's time for our next reunion. The event will take place September 30, 2006 at the Doubletree Hotel on Old Fort Parkway. Please visit the RSVP page for information on how to reserve your tickets.
